The Fiesta line of china was first produced by the Homer Laughlin China Company in 1936. The Art Deco style of the era was incorporated into its classic design, featuring concentric circles and a variety of bright solid colors. This dinnerware has proven so popular, that it has continued production with only a short hiatus from 1973 to 1985. The overall style has remained the same with minor changes influenced by different art directors during its production periods. The New York Times declared it "the most collected brand of china in the United States".
